What is PBIS?
Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a proactive systems approach to establishing the behavioral supports and social culture needed for all students in a school to achieve social, emotional, and academic success. Robein School is starting its sixth year of being a PBIS school and we have earned recognition at the Gold level from PBIS Midwest-IL Network. To learn more, go to: www.midwestpbis.org |
Above and Beyond
Students at Robein receive character education through monthly Cool Tool lessons and the Second Step program. Students are recognized for their positive behaviors by staff and four students of the month will be drawn at the end of each month. We teach students our school wide expectations for behavior on a regular basis: R- Responsible O- On Task C- Citizenship K- Keep Safe IT! Students are rewarded for displaying good behavior with Booster Bucks they may spend at the School Store. |
School Store/
Celebrations The School Store will be open during the last week of the month. It contains small prizes, candies, and certificates such as: No Homework passes, Free Snack at Lunch, Use IPOD/DS at lunch/during Study Hall, Wear Pajamas to School, and much more. We have quarterly school-wide Celebrations for all students to attend where we celebrate something positive that is occurring within our school. |
